The Blue Tour is a full day that gathers several of Cappadocia's most photogenic spots into one route, with a local guide throughout. It usually begins in Avanos at a pottery workshop on the banks of the Kizilirmak, then moves on to Pasabag, the monks valley where some of the tallest mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys stand. The afternoon takes in Devrent, often called the imagination valley for its animal-shaped rocks, along with viewpoints over the wider landscape. Because it covers a lot of ground it is a relaxed but long day, and a good choice once you have already seen the main Red Tour sights. Site entrance fees are included; lunch is not, but the guide helps with options.
