This safari swaps the coach for an open 4x4 and heads onto the back tracks that wind through Cappadocia's valleys, orchards and vineyards. The route reaches viewpoints and small rock churches that the standard tours drive past, with plenty of stops to take photos and stretch your legs. Part of the fun is the ride itself, bouncing along dirt roads with the wind and dust of the open vehicle. A driver who knows the area sets the pace and adjusts where you go depending on the day. It is an easy half day that suits anyone who would rather see the landscape up close than from a museum car park, with hotel transfer and water included.
